Trustee Vacancy Announced; Apply by June 1
The OA Board of Trustees has announced a vacancy of one seat on the board and is now accepting applications to fill the open trustee position for a one-year term. Any OA member who meets the eligibility requirements and is interested in this service is encouraged to apply.
The board made the decision to declare a vacancy following recent trustee elections at World Service Business Conference 2026 and in accordance with OA Bylaws, Subpart B.
Applicants are encourage to read the official announcement athe job description before completing the application.. Applications are due to the World Service Office by June 1. The appointed trustee’s term will last through the conclusion of World Service Business Conference 2027.
New trustees always receive mentoring from an experienced trustee, so please don’t let a lack of direct experience or fear hold you back! Many trustees say giving service at this level is one of the most rewarding experiences and leads to a significant step forward in their recovery journey.
