Committee Report – Steps, Traditions and Concepts
The Assembly will be held on the 18th of May from 2 pm to 7 pm UK time
I am deeply grateful to the people who asked me to do service as chair of this committee at our last Region 9 Convention, I could never have seen myself doing this service at Region level, but here I am, reporting back, beyond my wildest dreams.
In this committee we are a small group of people who are active in service. We started out deciding what we wanted to do in the committee and with the workshop, and we decided that we needed to attend the workshop, some for the first some and some with new eyes, to see how we could make it our own and how we could pass it on to others. Our trustee, who has a lot of experience with this workshop, was kind enough to lead the workshop for our committee and answer questions about the difficulties of leading it and the strengths and weaknesses of it.
Since then, we have been working on adapting it, sharing it out amongst ourselves and developing a way of delivering this workshop so that we can all feel a part of it, in the same way that we see our fellowship, where we are no longer alone. Our next goal is to be able to offer the workshop to the whole Region 9, this summer, after all the spring assemblies and the World Service Business Conference.
Thank you for your support and trust.
Love in Service
