The Assembly will be start at 8am on Wednesday 30th of September, in order to feel refreshed we enourage members to arrive Tuesday 29th of September in the late afternoon or early evening. The assembly will finish around 4pm on Friday 2nd October 2026. Convention will then start on Friday 2nd October 2026 in the early evening and finish no later than 2pm on Sunday 4th October 2026.

Dear OA Region 9 Community,
With great joy and anticipation, the Overeaters Anonymous Region 9 Board warmly invites you to the Region 9 Hybrid Annual Assembly 2026—a special opportunity to come together in unity, service, and recovery.
This year’s Assembly will take place Wednesday, 30 September to Friday, 2 October 2026 in Warsaw, Poland, with the option to attend both in person and online, followed by our Hybrid Convention from Friday, 2 October to Sunday, 4 October 2026.
Building on the success and experience of our previous hybrid assemblies, we are excited to offer an even more connected, inclusive, and enriching experience for all. Whether you join us in Warsaw or from your home, your presence matters. This Assembly is a meaningful space where we strengthen our bonds, share experience, strength, and hope, and support one another in carrying the message of recovery across our region.
We warmly welcome all affiliated service bodies, as well as any service body wishing to participate. Together, we can continue to grow stronger and more united.
As trusted servants of Region 9, we are committed to encouraging participation and will be reaching out to support service bodies with representation. Technology allows us to bridge distances—and that truly brings us together is our shared commitment.

While English remains the official language of the Assembly, we will once again provide a digital interpretation tool to help make participation more accessible to all. Though not perfect, it is a valuable bridge that allows us to connect across languages and cultures.
Important Dates
- Registration Deadline (in-person & virtual): 15 September 2026 – The registration fee is: 90 euros for representatives. Visitors do not need to pay the registration fee.
- Motion Submission Deadline: 2 July 2026
- Financial Assistance Application Deadline: 2 July 2026
- Trustee Nominee Applications: 11 August 2026
- World Service Business Conference Delegate Application Deadline: 1 October 2026, 7:00 PM (UK time)
- Assembly Hosting Proposals (2027 & 2028) are welcome until 1 September, but it would be appreciated if it can be submitted the soonest possible
This year, we will also hold elections for:
- Region 9 Secretary (2-year term)
- Digital Officer (2-year term)
- Delegate(s) to the World Service Business Conference (1-year term)
Following the Assembly, we are delighted to accept the invitation of the National Service Board of OA Poland to join the Region 9 Convention 2026—a beautiful continuation of fellowship and recovery.
