• The Board of OA Region 9
• Any committee of OA Region 9
• A Service Body of OA Region 9

How to Submit an Amendment or New Business Motion

Members and service bodies are encouraged to participate in shaping the future of our region by submitting amendments or new business motions for consideration. You can do this in one of two ways:

Option 1: Submit by Email

1. Download the Motions Submission Form
   The form is available by clicking THIS LINK. This document allows you to clearly outline your proposed amendment or new business motion, including:

• The exact wording of your proposed change
• The intent and rationale behind the motion
• Any relevant references or supporting information

1. Complete the Form
   Fill in all required sections carefully. Be sure to explain the purpose of your motion clearly and concisely so it can be understood by all delegates.
2. Email the Completed Form
   Send the filled-out form as an attachment to:

Option 2: Submit Online Using the Digital Form

If you prefer to work entirely online, you can use our convenient digital form. CLICK HERE To access the form.

• Fill out each section.
• The form will guide you through the required fields, including:
• Type of motion (amendment or new business)
• Motion content
• Supporting explanation
• Your contact information

Once submitted, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. The Region 9 Parliamentarian oa a member of the Region 9 Board may contact you if clarification is needed.

Please ensure all submissions are made before the published deadline so they can be reviewed and included in the preparation materials.
