Treasurer’s Report – Spring Assembly 2026

The Assembly will be held on Sunday 17th of May 2026 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm UK time

Actions since Region 9 Assembly 2025

– Deposited all 7th tradition contributions from the Paris Assembly into the Region 9 bank account.

– At assembly we managed to provide support to get three delegates to Assembly through the Representative Support Fund. There were a lot more of us but unfortunately four applications were curtailed due to the Iranian situation, they could only attend online.

– The new line item we introduced last year ‘Assembly Assistance’ secured our place at the venue working really well to make it a great event. We have received a refund from the French National Service Board of Euro 2,088.

– Collated a list of all Region 9 Delegates ( three ) and Delegate Support Fund Delegates ( seven ). Arranged payments of £375 to the Delegate Support Fund Delegates to help support ‘other service bodies’ in sending delegates to World Service Business Conference  2026.

– Prepared all expense claims for trusted servant sent to the treasurer email requesting supporting documents and banking information to arrange payment through the Region 9 banker.

Personal Note:

Thank you to all Region 9 fellows for giving me the confidence to enjoy the treasurer position. I’ve learned a lot from how lovely you all can be helping me at every turn to complete the tasks at hand. It was a real milestone for me to be presenting our budget at the Paris Assembly. I put in the hours and it paid off. We agreed great budgets that set out our grants for the year. I’ve been busy every day as your treasurer and have loved doing this service.
