In service as Region 9 Vice Chair for the past 2.5 years, it has been my privilege to be entrusted to support the Chair, the Board and other Trusted Servants in service to our Region. I have continued to work closely with our Chair and other Board officers to meet the needs of our region to the best of my ability. I have worked on the things that I specifically committed to, in relation to contributing to policy updates, ensuring that I am well versed in our policies, procedures and bylaws and contributing to the active outreach of our region in various ways. I have continued to share the work of our unique, diverse and incredible region at a number of meetings and the unique part that we each play.
As a Region 9 Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) Trustee and Banker, I have worked alongside our longstanding outgoing banker in getting up to speed as to what is required of me and submitted the 2024-2025 report to the Charities Commission with the help of my fellow Charitable Incorporated Organisation Trustees. I have continued to make payments, ensuring we are compliant auditing wise, working closely with our Region 9 Treasurer and have commenced work on the 2025-2026 accounts. I serve as Charitable Incorporated Organisation Trustee alongside our other two Charitable Incorporated Organisation Trustees and Treasurer, in service to the Region 9 Board and Assembly.
I remain committed in supporting the work of our Sponsorship Coordinators and proactively contribute to the work of the Active Outreach Committee and other committee chairs on an ad hoc basis. I also give service within the Unity With Diversity Committee for World Service, recently giving service at a well-attended workshop.
It remains a joy and privilege to serve in this capacity, and I am deeply humbled by this. I will continue to give service to and within Region 9 to the best of my ability and have seen my connection to my Higher Power deepen and my recovery amplified. Service has amplified the gifts I have to offer and has often reminded me that together we can (do anything we could never do alone). It has also reminded me that I can do anything I set my mind to (and that if I get stuck, I have humans in my world who want to see me succeed).
We will soon commence support of the Polish National Service Board in preparations in advance of our Annual Assembly.
With the help of my Higher Power and my fellows, I look forward to continuing to serve; I am forever inspired by my fellows and remain humbled by your trust in me. Together we really can.
Thank you for allowing me to support our Region in this way; I hope to continue to serve in the spirit I was gratefully elected.
With love in fellowship,
Natasha P
