Board Report – Vice Chair

The Assembly will be held on the 18th of May from 2 pm to 7 pm UK time

In service as Region 9 Vice Chair for the past 1.5 years, it has been my privilege to be entrusted to support the Chair, the Board and other Trusted Servants in service to our Region.

We have so far liaised the French National Service Board in preparations in advance of our Annual Assembly later this year, for which I will draw on my experiences so far to enable to the best possible outcome for this event in Paris.

I have been appointed a Region 9 Chartable Incorporated Organisation Trustee and Banker, and am now a signatory and will have more to report in this space in the coming months.

I continue to support the work of our Sponsorship Coordinators and within the Active Outreach Committee and other committee chairs on an ad hoc basis.

It is a joy to serve in this capacity and I am deeply humbled by this. I will continue to give service to and within Region 9 to the best of my ability and have seen my connection to my Higher Power deepen and my recovery amplified.

It has been a highlight for me to be able to deliver the workshop I created for Llandudno, Creativity in Recovery which was a powerful workshop; thank you for allowing me to hold space in this way. I hope to deliver this again at some point in the coming months.

With the help of my Higher Power and my fellows, I look forward to continuing to serve as your Vice Chair; it is a transformative experience to give Service in Region 9, I continue to be inspired by my fellows and remain humbled by your trust in me. Together we really can.
